Code Syntax Highlighting

by Alex on 2019-3-2 23:00:00

Hi 👋

I apologize for sending too many emails this week, but I have yet another feature announcement: from now one JustComments supports code syntax highlighting by default.

All you need to do to enable it is to pick one of the themes provided by highlight.js and add the CSS file to your site. For example:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/highlight.js/9.14.2/styles/monokai-sublime.min.css" />

These styles will make the code appear as follows:

I have documented the feature in more details on this page: https://just-comments.com/docs.html#code-highlighting

Best regards,
Alex
